The timeline depends on how far back we need to go to get you fully caught up.

Things People Ask Before They Start

How long does onboarding take? +
Most clients are fully onboarded within 30–45 days. The timeline depends on the state of your current books and how far back we need to go to get everything caught up. We'll set clear expectations upfront and keep you informed throughout.
What do I need to provide each month? +
To get started we'll need access to your QBO file and your bank and credit card accounts. Beyond that, very little — that's the point. Because we work live in your QBO file, most of the data is already there. If we need anything else to clarify a transaction or complete a filing, we'll reach out.
What if my books are a mess when I come to you? +
That's more common than you think — and it's not a problem. Cleanup is part of our onboarding process. We'll assess what needs to be done, give you a clear picture of the work involved, and get everything in order before we start the monthly rhythm.
How do I communicate with my Client Advisor? +
Phone, email, or video call — whatever works best for you. You'll have direct access to your Client Advisor, not a general inbox or support queue. We aim to respond to all messages within one business day.
Can I switch tiers if my needs change? +
Yes. As your business grows or your needs change, we can adjust your service tier. We'll have that conversation with you proactively if we think a different tier would serve you better — we won't wait for you to ask.
What happens if I want to leave? +
We don't lock clients in with contracts designed to trap them. If you ever decide to move on, we'll make the transition as smooth as possible — organized files, complete records, and a clean handoff. We'd rather earn your loyalty than hold you hostage.
